Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Haystack Sports Software, associated websites, recruiting technology, profiles, educational materials, workshops, communications, and related services.

1. Purpose of the Services

Haystack Sports provides technology, tools, education, and resources designed to assist student-athletes, families, coaches, schools, and athletic programs with the college recruiting process.

2. No Guarantee of Recruitment or Scholarships

3. User Responsibilities

Users agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of their knowledge and to use the platform for legitimate purposes. Users may not intentionally provide false recruiting information, impersonate another individual, interfere with platform security, attempt unauthorized access, misuse student-athlete information, or use the services for unlawful purposes.

4. Student-Athlete Profiles

Student-athlete recruiting profiles may contain information intended to be viewed by college coaches, recruiting personnel, and other appropriate individuals. Users are responsible for ensuring information they submit is appropriate for recruiting purposes.

5. Parent and Guardian Participation

Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in the recruiting process when student-athletes are minors. By authorizing a minor's participation where authorization is required, the parent or guardian acknowledges that certain information may be used to create and operate the athlete's recruiting profile and facilitate recruiting activities.

6. Coach, School & Athletic Department Access

Coaches, schools, athletic directors, and other authorized administrators may have access to information regarding athletes associated with their programs. Such access must be used responsibly and only for legitimate athletic, administrative, educational, and recruiting purposes.

7. Acceptable Use

Users may not use Haystack Sports to harass or threaten others, distribute unlawful material, transmit malware or malicious code, scrape or systematically extract platform information without authorization, compromise platform security, or use student-athlete information for unauthorized commercial purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

Haystack Sports software, branding, designs, technology, educational materials, training materials, recruiting resources, graphics, written content, and other proprietary materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

9. Third-Party Services

Our services may integrate with or provide links to third-party websites, video platforms, social networks, colleges, payment processors, technology providers, or other services. Haystack Sports does not control independent third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, terms, or privacy practices.

10. Availability of Services

We work to maintain reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may occasionally be modified, upgraded, suspended, or discontinued as our technology and programs evolve.

11. Privacy

Use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Statement and, where applicable, our Student-Athlete & Parent Privacy Notice.

12. Account Security

Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should immediately notify Haystack Sports if they believe an account has been accessed without authorization.

13. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, security concerns, nonpayment where applicable, legal requirements, or conduct that could harm users or the integrity of our services.

14. Disclaimer

The services and information provided through Haystack Sports are intended to assist with the recruiting process and should not be considered a guarantee of any athletic, academic, admissions, scholarship, or financial outcome.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Haystack Sports and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our programs, technology, or legal obligations change. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
