Haystack Sports Software is designed to help student-athletes, families, coaches, and athletic programs navigate the college recruiting process. Because many athletes using our services are minors, protecting student-athlete information is important to us.

Information We May Collect

• Student-athlete name and contact information
• Parent or guardian contact information
• School and graduation year
• Sport, position, team, jersey number, height, weight, and athletic information
• Academic information voluntarily provided for recruiting purposes
• Athletic statistics, achievements, awards, and honors
• Photographs, videos, highlight films, and recruiting media
• Recruiting preferences and college interests
• Recruiting activity and progress
• Relevant athletic, recruiting, or social media profile links
• Communications and other information submitted through our software

Why We Collect This Information

Student-athlete information may be used to create and maintain recruiting profiles, help athletes showcase themselves to colleges, facilitate communication and recruiting opportunities, provide recruiting education and resources, allow authorized coaches and athletic directors to monitor recruiting progress, improve our technology and services, and provide customer support.

Recruiting Profiles

A student-athlete's recruiting profile is intended to help promote that athlete to appropriate college coaches and recruiting personnel. Information designated for a recruiting profile may therefore be viewed by individuals involved in the college recruiting process.

Parents and Guardians

We encourage parents and legal guardians to participate actively when a minor uses Haystack Sports. Parents or legal guardians may contact us with questions about their child's information or to request access, correction, or deletion when applicable.

Schools, Coaches & Athletic Directors

Authorized coaches, athletic directors, schools, and program administrators may be provided access to student-athlete information when necessary to administer the program and assist athletes with recruiting. These individuals are expected to use student information only for appropriate athletic, educational, administrative, and college recruiting purposes.

Information We Do Not Sell

College Coaches and Recruiting Personnel

The purpose of a recruiting platform is to help qualified student-athletes gain exposure to collegiate opportunities. Information intended for recruiting may therefore be shared or made accessible to college coaches, recruiting personnel, athletic programs, and other appropriate participants in the recruiting process.

No Recruiting Guarantee

Haystack Sports provides recruiting technology, resources, education, and support. Participation does not guarantee that a student-athlete will be recruited, receive a scholarship, receive an offer, make a college roster, or be admitted to a particular college or university.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect information entrusted to us. No online platform or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
